There’s never been a better reason to break out your KitchenAid mixers and throw a party!  Susan G. Komen for the Cure, KitchenAid, and 1000 cooks will be throwing parties and baking cakes to support the fight against breast cancer!  Join Cook for a Cure in July.  Getting involved is fun, easy, and there’s a special something in it for you too!

To participate, simply host a party (of any kind) at your home anytime from July 20-July 29. Rather than bring a housewarming gift, food, or wine, your guests can instead bring a small donation for Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help in the fight against breast cancer. Click Here to see how you can participate.

Any party host who raises $50 or more will receive a free plate designed by Jacques Pépin in the mail, and anyone who hosts a party and registers it on Kitchen-Aid’s website will automatically be entered to receive the ultimate “thank you” from Jacques Pepin himself!  Get all the Details.

For thirty years, Komen for the Cure® has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer – transforming how the world talks about and treats the disease, and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.  Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the boldest community of breast cancer activists working to fuel the best science,  and make the biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer.

There are more than 2.6 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today. Since inception, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has invested more than $1.9 billion in its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.  Annually, Susan G. Komen for the Cure funds more than 600,000 breast cancer screenings. Every 74 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies of breast cancer.  Early detection and effective treatment have resulted in a decline in breast cancer mortality in the U.S. – 31 percent since1990.
