“Everyone has a unique approach to this traditional Mexican meal staple, but our avocado salad recipe is sure to make you say, "Holy Guacamole!" The recipe features Tabasco, Cilantro and Chipotle Chili powder.”


Prep Time:

10 Minutes




  • 4 Med- large ripe avocados
  • 4-5 Tablespoons cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 Teaspoon garlic powder (not garlic salt)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • Dash each of Kosher salt and ground pepper
  • 10-12 Grape or cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 Teaspoon olive oil
  • Tabasco to taste
  1. Step 1 – Preparation
    1. Remove avocado fruit meat from the skin and pit
    2. In a medium mixing bowl gently mash with a fork
    3. Add olive oil and garlic powder
    4. Add balance of ingredients, mix and taste test
    5. Add seasonings based on your taste (don’t be bashful with the Tabasco and Chipotle Chile powder!
    6. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and salsa!
    7. Enjoy!
